We had the "Romance" package. The flowers and petals were absolutely beautiful! The chocolate covered strawberries were huge & delicious! The room & bathroom were so warm and inviting. You're staff was excellent!!! They made the difference, starting with the call made to me to confirm my reservation. The front desk staff was very professional and made us feel at home. I have been staying at your hotel for the past couple of weeks. Unfortunately, I've been a little absent minded and I wanted to let you know what tremendous assistance I received from some of your staff. First, last Thursday, I left my can and home keys at the hotel. The Bell Manager located them for me and then personally ran them out to me at the airport in time to catch my flight. On Sunday, at 5:45 p.m. we returned and I suddenly realized I had not packed any shirts. I am an attorney and had to be in court the following morning at 9:00 a.m. The two concierge ladies immediately called Brooks Brothers and got through about eight minutes before they closed. They arranged for me to have shirts delivered to the hotel that night. Before getting that in place, they assured me that if necessary they would personally make sure that I had a shirt for the morning and that one of them would stop at a men's shop on Monday on the way to work the next morning to get me whatever else I needed. I've stayed at many top hotels, (the Carslyle in New York, the Fairmont in Boston, the Ritz in Paris, etc.) but I have never had employees extend themselves to this degree before. Everyone at the hotel has been terrific and I thought these folds deserved a little extra recognition. We will likely return to Memphis in September and look forward to staying with you again. |
